Sarson’s, the nation’s favourite vinegar brand, is partnering with award-winning fish and chip shop Sutton & Sons to launch a UK culinary first; Chipickles. The limited edition dish, chips pickled with Sarson’s malt vinegar before frying, will be available for two weeks from 26th October at Sutton & Sons restaurant at Boxpark in Shoreditch, London.

Husband and wife duo, and founders of Sutton & Sons, Danny and Hana Sutton have been serving East Londoners traditional top-notch deep-fried fish delivered fresh from their own fishmongers for the past few years to much acclaim. Sutton & Sons pairs perfectly with the Sarson’s brand, whose vinegar heritage and recipe is well loved. Their combined expertise and knowledge has resulted in a modern twist on the classic British favourite.

Tantalise your tastebuds by making your own Chipickles at home by following the recipe below:
- 1kg potatoes
- 500ml Sarson’s malt vinegar
- 500ml cold water
- Oil for frying
- Make a 50/50 solution consisting of water and Sarson’s malt vinegar
- Soak your chips in the solution for two hours
- Fry for 6 – 8 minutes or until soft on the inside and crispy on the outside!
